Q:
How do I uninstall the software?
A:
Follow the instructions below for your operating system:

Windows
  1. Turn off the Epson Stylus.


  2. Disconnect the USB cable from the Epson Stylus.


  3. Click Start or , and select Programs or All Programs.


  4. Select Epson or Epson Printers, select EPSON NX300 Series, then select Epson Printer Software Uninstall.


    5. Note:
    Click Yes (Windows 7) or Continue (Windows Vista), then go to the next step.

  5. In the next window, select EPSON Stylus NX300 Series and click OK. Then follow the on-screen instructions.


  6. Open the Windows Control Panel, then select Programs and Features (Windows 7 or Windows Vista). If you’re using the Classic View, click Uninstall a program under the Programs category instead. In Windows XP, double-click Add or Remove Programs.


  7. Click EPSON Scan in the list of currently installed programs and click Uninstall/Change (Windows 7 or Windows Vista) or Change/Remove (Windows XP).


    8. Note:
    Click Yes (Windows 7) or Continue (Windows Vista), click Next, and continue with step 9.

  8. When the confirmation window appears, click Yes.


  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Epson Scan.


    10. In some cases, a message may appear to prompt you to restart the computer. If so, make sure Yes, I want to restart my computer now is selected and click Finish.

  10. Restart your computer.
Macintosh

  1. Insert the Epson Stylus NX300 Series software CD-ROM in your CD-ROM or DVD drive.


  2. Double-click the Epson CD-ROM icon on your desktop.


  3. Open the Common folder, then open the EPSON Scan folder.


  4. Double-click the EPSON Scan Installer icon.


  5. When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.


  6. Open the Common folder, then open the Printer folder in the CD-ROM window.


  7. Double click the EPSON Printer icon.


  8. When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.


  9. Do one of the following:

    Mac OS X 10.4: Open the Applications folder, select Utilities, choose Printer Setup Utility, click Stylus NX300 and click Delete.


    10. Mac OS X 10.5 or 10.6: Select System Preferences, select Print & Fax, select your printer, and click the — button.

  10. Restart your Macintosh.
