Q:
How can I tell if the computer or the printer is causing a print quality problem?
A:
You can print a nozzle check pattern to determine whether the print quality problem comes from the printer itself or some other source.

If the nozzle check pattern prints with no gaps or missing sections, the printer is operating properly and the problem is probably caused by your computer, cable, software, or print settings. Check for additional solutions or try uninstalling your software and reinstalling it (USB or Network connection).

If there are gaps in the nozzle check pattern, clean the print head.

If the page does not print, the printer may have a problem. Check for additional solutions. If they don't work, contact Epson.
