What should I do if the printout contains incorrect characters or garbled characters? |

Try the following:
- Turn off the printer and computer. Make sure the printer's interface cable is securely plugged in.
- Clear the print job from the print queue.
- Uninstall the printer driver, then reinstall it by following the software installation instructions on the Start Here sheet (for a USB connection) or Network Installation Guide (for a network connection).
