What should I do if I'm having problems installing the software? |

See the suggestions below for your software installation type.
USB (printer connected to your computer with a USB cable) Make sure you followed the software installation instructions on the Start Here sheet. If the installation fails, make sure the printer is turned on and the USB cable is securely connected at both ends. If you're still having problems, disconnect the USB cable and uninstall the software. Follow the software installation instructions on the Start Here sheet to reinstall your software. Before reinstalling the software, check for the following:
Network (printer connected to your network hub or switch) Make sure you followed the software installation instructions in the Network Installation Guide. If the installation fails, make sure the printer is turned on and the Ethernet cable connecting your printer to the network switch or hub is securely connected at both ends. If you're still having problems, uninstall the software. Follow the software installation instructions in the Network Installation Guide to reinstall the software. (You must install the software on each computer that will print to the printer.) Before reinstalling the software, check for the following:
