How do I uninstall the software? |

Follow the instructions below for your computer system:
Windows
- Turn off your printer.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the printer.
- Click Start or
, and select Programs or All Programs.
- Select EPSON, select your printer's folder, then select EPSON Printer Software Uninstall.
Note:
With Windows 7 or Windows Vista, click Yes or Continue, then go to the next step.
- In the next window, select your Epson printer and click OK. Then follow the on-screen instructions.
- Open the Windows Control Panel, and click Uninstall a program under Programs (Windows 7 or Windows Vista) or double-click Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP).
- Click Epson Event Manager in the list of currently installed programs and click Uninstall/Change (Windows 7 or Windows Vista) or Change/Remove (Windows XP). With Windows Vista, click Continue.
Then click OK.
- Click EPSON Scan in the list of currently installed programs and click Uninstall/Change (Windows 7 or Windows Vista) or Change/Remove (Windows XP). With Windows 7 or Windows Vista, click Yes or Continue.
- Click Next.
In some cases, a message may appear to prompt you to restart the computer. If so, make sure Yes, I want to restart my computer now is selected and click Finish.
- Restart your computer.
Macintosh
- Turn off your printer.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the printer.
- Insert your printer's software CD-ROM in your CD-ROM or DVD drive.
- Open the Common folder in the CD-ROM window.
Note: You may have to scroll down to see the Common folder.
- Do one of the following:
Mac OS X 10.6: Continue with step 7.
Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5: Open the EPSON Scan folder and double-click the EPSON Scan Installer icon.
- When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.
- Open the Printer folder (in the Common folder), then double-click the EPSON Printer Uninstaller icon.
- When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.
- Do one of the following:
Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6: Open System Preferences, select Print & Fax, select your Epson printer and click the — button.
Mac OS X 10.4: Open the Applications folder, select Utilities, choose Printer Setup Utility, select your Epson printer and click Delete.
- Restart your Macintosh.
