Q:
How do I uninstall the software?
A:
Follow the instructions below for your computer system:

Windows
  1. Turn off your printer.


  2. Disconnect the USB cable from the printer.


  3. Click Start or , and select Programs or All Programs.


  4. Select EPSON, select your printer's folder, then select EPSON Printer Software Uninstall.


  5. Note:
    With Windows 7 or Windows Vista, click Yes or Continue, then go to the next step.

  6. In the next window, select your Epson printer and click OK. Then follow the on-screen instructions.


  7. Open the Windows Control Panel, and click Uninstall a program under Programs (Windows 7 or Windows Vista) or double-click Add or Remove Programs (Windows XP).


  8. Click Epson Event Manager in the list of currently installed programs and click Uninstall/Change (Windows 7 or Windows Vista) or Change/Remove (Windows XP). With Windows Vista, click Continue.

    Then click OK.


  9. Click EPSON Scan in the list of currently installed programs and click Uninstall/Change (Windows 7 or Windows Vista) or Change/Remove (Windows XP). With Windows 7 or Windows Vista, click Yes or Continue.

  10. Click Next.

    In some cases, a message may appear to prompt you to restart the computer. If so, make sure Yes, I want to restart my computer now is selected and click Finish.


  11. Restart your computer.
Macintosh

  1. Turn off your printer.


  2. Disconnect the USB cable from the printer.


  3. Insert your printer's software CD-ROM in your CD-ROM or DVD drive.


  4. Open the Common folder in the CD-ROM window.

    Note:
    You may have to scroll down to see the Common folder.


  5. Do one of the following:

    Mac OS X 10.6: Continue with step 7.

    Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5: Open the EPSON Scan folder and double-click the EPSON Scan Installer icon.


  6. When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.


  7. Open the Printer folder (in the Common folder), then double-click the EPSON Printer Uninstaller icon.

  8. When the Installer window appears, select Uninstall from the pop-up menu at the top and click the Uninstall button.


  9. Do one of the following:

    Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6: Open System Preferences, select Print & Fax, select your Epson printer and click the button.

    Mac OS X 10.4: Open the Applications folder, select Utilities, choose Printer Setup Utility, select your Epson printer and click Delete.


  10. Restart your Macintosh.
