What are the system requirements for using the product with my computer?

To use your product and its software, your computer system should meet or exceed the requirements listed below.

Windows

USB 1.1 port (minimum) or USB 2.0 port (recommended) and a shielded USB "AB" cable up to 6.5 feet (2 meters) long required for a USB connection. Using an improperly shielded USB cable may cause your Epson product to malfunction. USB port and cable are not required when connecting the product to a network. However, temporary use of a USB port and cable is recommended to install the product on a wireless network.

An Ethernet cable is required for a wired network connection (connecting the product to your network with an Ethernet cable). The cable is not required for a USB or wireless network connection.

Mac

However if you're using Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5, temporary use of a USB port and cable is recommended to install the product on a wireless network.
