How do I reinstall Epson Scan on Mac OS X?
A:
Follow the instructions below.

Uninstall Scanner Driver:
Note: You must log on to a Computer Administrator account.
  1. Quit all running applications.


  2. Insert the scanner software CD-ROM into your Macintosh.


  3. Open the Epson CD-ROM desktop icon, if necessary.


  4. Double-click the Common folder, then double-click the EPSON Scan folder.


    5. Note: You may have to scroll down to see these folders.

  5. Double-click the EPSON Scan Uninstaller icon.


    6. Note: If the Authenticate window appears, enter your password or phrase and click OK.

  6. Select Uninstall from the menu at the top and click the Uninstall button at the bottom.


  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the scanner driver.

Reinstall Scanner Driver:
  1. Go to the Drivers & Downloads page.


  2. Click the latest version of the Epson Scan for your version of Windows, then click Download Now.


  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to install the driver.


  4. When prompted, click Finish.


  5. Turn your scanner on and reconnect it to the computer. Mac OS X should detect new hardware and complete the installation automatically.


  6. Restart your computer.
