If the product is going to be connected directly to a computer with a USB cable, see USB connection below. If you're setting up the product on a network, see Wireless connection or Ethernet connection below depending on how you want to connect the product to the network.

USB connection

Follow the software installation instructions on the Start Here sheet.

Note:
Before installing the software, make sure the product is not connected to your computer. You will be prompted to connect the product during the installation process. If you don't connect the product when prompted, the driver will not install correctly.

Wireless connection

Before you begin, make sure you set up your product as described on the Start Here sheet. Then do one of the following:

• If this is the first time that you're installing the product, see Wireless Network Setup.



• If the product is already on your wireless network and you need to set up additional computers to print to the product, see Setting Up Additional Computers. You will need to install the software on every computer that will print to your product.

Ethernet connection

Before you begin, make sure you set up your product as described on the Start Here sheet. Then do one of the following:

• If this is the first time that you're installing the product, see Wired (Ethernet) Network Setup.



• If the product is already on your network and you need to set up additional computers to print to the product, see Setting Up Additional Computers. You will need to install the software on every computer that will print to your product.
