What should I do if I see the message Scanner Not Ready?
A:
Do the following:
  • If your product is connected to your computer through a USB connection:


    • Make sure it is turned on and securely connected to your computer or USB hub.


    • Make sure it's connected to a first tier hub (the hub closest to the host computer) that has its own A/C adapter when more than one hub is connected to the computer.


  • Check to make sure the product's transportation lock has been removed and placed in the storage area.


  • Try restarting your computer.
