Q: |
After upgrading EMP Monitor or EasyMP Monitor on my computer, no projectors appear on the screen when I launch EasyMP Monitor. What's wrong? |
A: |
When a projector is registered, the settings are saved to a file called EMP Monitor.dat. When you upgrade to a newer version of EMP Monitor or EasyMP monitor, this file is replaced with a new version. You need to register the projectors again for them to appear. To avoid having to re-register the projectors, copy the EMP Monitor.dat file to another location on your hard drive before upgrading EasyMP Monitor. The file can be found in one of the following locations: Windows 2000 or Windows XP :\Program Files\EPSON Projector\EasyMP (or EMP) Monitor Ver.x.xx* Windows Vista or Windows 7 :\Users\(User Name)\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\ProgramFiles\EPSON Projector\EasyMP (or EMP) Monitor Ver. x.xx* *Ver. x.xx represents the software version After upgrading EasyMP Monitor, copy the saved file back to its original location. When you open EasyMP Monitor, all the registered projectors will appear. |
