The HDMI video signal has color tone levels ranging from 0 - 255.

When you select Normal mode, the projector receives the color tone levels ranging from 16 - 235. This setting is for DVD, TV, and Cable/SAT boxes.

When you select Expanded mode, the projector receives color tone levels ranging from 0 - 255 (full signal). This setting is ideal when projecting from a computer.

Note:
If you select Normal mode and the black area becomes bright or pale, select Expanded mode.

If you select Expanded mode and the black area is not clear, select Normal mode.
