I installed the initial ink cartridges and the product seems to be doing a long cleaning cycle. Is this normal? |
A: |
Yes. It takes about 10 minutes for the product to prime its print head the first time you install ink cartridges. Do not turn off the printer, load paper, or open any covers until the process is complete.
Caution: Wait until priming finishes before you turn off your product, or it may prime improperly and use excess ink the next time you turn it on. |
