What should I do if the colors in my printout don't match my monitor?
Your monitor and the printer use different technologies to represent colors, so your printed colors can't match your screen colors exactly. Try increasing your monitor's color palette to view a greater range of colors, and then try the following:

  • Print a nozzle check pattern. If there are gaps or the pattern is faint, clean the print head.

  • Epson inks, specialty papers, and printers are designed to work together. For the best results, use genuine Epson ink and paper.

  • Make sure you selected the correct Media Settings (Windows) or Printer Settings (Mac OS X) in the printer driver. Or if you're printing from an ICC-compliant application such as Adobe Photoshop, try printing using a color managed workflow.

  • Check the ink cartridge status. If any ink cartridge is low, you may need to replace it to improve print quality.
