When I try to make a copy, the product doesn't detect the photo placed on the scan bed. What should I do?

Check the following:
Make sure the scanner glass is clean and free of finger prints, smudges, etc. (When cleaning the glass, spray the glass cleaner onto a cloth and then wipe the glass. Never spray glass cleaner directly onto the scanner glass.)
Make sure the photos are placed on the scan bed correctly.
