Can I just pull the memory card out of the product when I'm finished printing?
No. Before removing a memory card from the product, make sure the memory card access light is not flashing. Do not remove a card while the card light is flashing, or you may lose data on the card.
If the product is connected to your computer, do one of the following before removing the memory card or turning it off:
If the product is connected to your computer by a USB cable, right-click the name of your card (removable disk) in My Computer or Windows Explorer, and select Eject.
If the product is connected to your computer over a network connection, make sure that the memory card light is not flashing, then remove the card from the slot.
If the product is connected to your computer by a USB cable, drag the removable disk icon from your desktop into the trash.
If the product is connected to your computer over a network connection, open the hard drive, click the eject icon for the memory card, then remove the card from the slot.
If your Mac is connected to the product over a network, do not drag the Memory Card application icon (see example icon below) to the Trash. If you accidentally delete the icon, you'll need to reinstall it to be able to access memory cards over your network.
