In Windows, the Quality Option and paper Type settings determine the print resolution.



In Mac OS X, the resolution settings depend on the Mode setting.

Note:
To access the resolution settings in Mac OS X, select Print from the File menu. Then select Print Settings from the pop-up menu.

If you've selected Automatic as the Mode setting, the resolution is determined by the Media Type and Print Quality setting.
