Q:
My wireless product will not wake up when I try to print. I have to turn it off and on again to get it to print. How can I fix this?
A:
The printer should wake from sleep mode immediately when receiving any type of data input. If the printer has not been used for a long period of time, the router may have dropped the printer from the network to save power or bandwidth. Once the printer is powered off and back on, the router may re-find the printer and reconnect. We recommend contacting the router manufacturer to check any settings that may relate to this. When calling the manufacturer, let them know the printer drops off the network only when not used for a long period of time.
