Q:
How do I set up my product to print with a wireless connection without using a router or access point (this is also known as an ad hoc connection)?
A:
Do the following:
  1. Set up a wireless ad hoc network on your computer. Allow the SSID to be broadcast. For instructions, contact support for your computer's operating system.


  2. Use your product's Setup Wizard to connect to your computer's SSID and create the wireless network connection.
NOTE: Only printing is supported with an ad hoc connection. Other product features (such as scanning) will not work with an ad hoc connection.
