The image quality is poor when viewing presentations using some apps with the device docked on the projector. What is wrong?

This is an Apple device limitation. The workaround to project at a higher resolution is connecting the Apple device externally using the optional Apple Digital AV adapter or Apple VGA adapter.
Note: The output resolution is fixed to one resolution depending on the Apple device, regardless of the content resolution. Resolution: 480p/576p: iPod touch (2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation), iPod nano (3rd, 4th, and 5th generation), iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad. 480i/576i: iPod touch (1st generation), iPhone 3G, iPhone. |
