Q:
What do I need to do before I register my printer with the Google Cloud Print service?
A:
Confirm the following:

  • Your printer must be Google Cloud Print-ready.


  • Your printer needs access to your network and the internet.


  • You need a Google account. You will need to register an account if you don't already have one.


  • Make sure the XMPP port 5222 is not blocked (especially in office LAN environments).
