There is no device connection needed to annotate. You can simply annotate on a projected no signal blank screen.

You can annotate using the projector's built-in interactive tools. Make sure you use the remote control to select a different source from the one specified for interactivity. There are built-in interactive backgrounds available for annotation with or without devices connected using the projector's internal whiteboard mode.

Note: The projector's built-in interactive tools do not provide the same functionality as the Easy Interactive Tools (EIT2), such as the use of both pens at the same time.
