Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4533 Network Multifunction Wireless Color Printer

This happens if ABBYY Fine Reader is installed and you select Create searchable PDF in EPSON Scan. (Create searchable PDF option saves the PDF file in a format that allows you to search for text within the document.)

Follow these steps to disable this setting:

1. Start EPSON Scan.



2. Click the  file folder icon next to the Scan button. The File Save Settings window appears.
   
   



3. Select PDF for the Type setting under Image Format.



4. Click the Options button.



5. Click the Text tab.
   
   



6. Deselect Create searchable PDF.



7. Click OK to save your change.
