Q:
What should I do if my product doesn't detect my photos placed on the scanner glass when I use the copy/restore photos function on the control panel?
A:
Check the following:
  • Make sure the scanner glass is clean and free of fingerprints, smudges, etc. (When cleaning the glass, spray the glass cleaner onto a cloth and then wipe the glass. Never spray glass cleaner directly onto the scanner glass.)


  • Make sure the photos are placed on the scanner glass correctly.


  • Make sure the photos are no larger than 8.5 x 11 inches for one photo or 4 x 6 inches for two photos.


  • When copying two photos, place them at least 0.8 inch (20 mm) apart.
