Can I use the USB Type B port for both the USB display feature and remote mouse operation at the same time?

No. The default setting in the Extended menu for USB Type B operation is USB Display, which enables the USB display feature. For remote mouse operation you must change the USB Type B setting from USB Display to Wireless Mouse; then you can use the buttons on the remote as a mouse.
