My EPSON all-in-one does not work since I updated my Mac to Mac OS X 10.8.x. What should I do?
You'll need to install the software drivers for your product again.

  1. Go to the EPSON main support page. Select your product, then Drivers & Downloads.

  2. Download the Drivers and Utilities Combo Package for your product for Mac OS X 10.8. Make a note of the file name and the location you saved it.

  3. Open the file you downloaded, and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

    Note: If a Drivers and Utilities Combo Package is not available for your product, go to the next step anyway. Apple's Software Update may have drivers for your product.

  4. Select the menu, then Software Update. Install any updates available for your EPSON product.

  5. Select the menu > System Preferences > Print & Scan.

  6. Your product should appear in the Printers list. If your product is not listed, click + and select your product.

  7. Close the Print & Scan window.

  8. You're done if the steps above solved the problem. If they did not help, contact EPSON support at one of the following numbers:

Note: The steps above will install Apple's Image Capture software for scanning. However, you can also install EPSON Scan. EPSON Scan provides additional image adjustment and photo correction features for enhancing scanned images, and provides an interface for TWAIN-compliant OCR scanning software, such as ABBYY FineReader.

To install EPSON Scan, do the following:

  1. Go to the Drivers & Downloads page for your product.

  2. Select EPSON Scan.

  3. Click Download Now and follow the on-screen instructions to install EPSON Scan.
