These are the minimum system requirements. For optimum performance, a faster processor and more memory are recommended. Scanning at higher resolutions may create very large files that can exceed system requirements.

For USB: Apple Macintosh computer (G3, G4, or iMac) with built-in USB port, running Mac. OS 8.5 to 9.2.2 or OS X version 10.1.3 or higher

For IEEE 1394 (FireWire): Power PC-equipped Macintosh with Mac OS 8.6 to 9.2.2 or OS 10.1.3 or higher. If using FireWire, make sure Apple's FireWire 2.1 (or later) software is installed on your system. Check the Apple web site for any updates to your operating system.

Built-in USB connection, 1.1 or 2.0 compliant or FireWire port (IEEE 1394-2000 compatible)

128MB RAM (256MB recommended)

100MB (350MB recommended) available hard disk space for Photo version

CD-ROM or DVD drive

EPSON Scan supports the Apple ColorSync 2.X color management system and QuickTime. These extensions are automatically installed during EPSON Scan installation.
