Q:
How do I create a header for my faxes?
A:
Before faxing, add your sender name and fax number to the fax header to identify the source of the faxes you send.
Press the
Fax
button.
Press the
Menu
button.
Press the up or down arrow buttons to select
Fax Settings
and press the
OK
button. You see this screen:
Press the up or down arrow buttons to select
Header
and press the
OK
button.
Press the
OK
button to select
Fax Header
. You see this screen:
Use the keypad to enter the sender name for your fax source, such as your name or a business name. You can enter up to 40 characters.
Press the
OK
button to return to the Header menu.
Press the up or down arrow buttons to select
Your Phone Number
and press the
OK
button.
Use the numeric buttons on the control panel to enter your fax number, up to 20 characters. You do not need to use dashes.
Press the
OK
button to return to the Header menu.
Press the
Menu
button to exit.
