I am getting an ink recognition error after inserting the ink
cartridges provided with the printer. What should I do? |

Do the following:
- Press the
OK button.
- Lift up the scanner unit.

Caution: Do not move the print head by hand; otherwise, you
may damage your product. Do not touch the flat white cable inside the printer.
Caution: Do not lift up the scanner unit when the document
cover is open.

- Remove all ink cartridges.
(Squeeze the tab on each cartridge and lift the cartridge straight up to remove
it.
Note: Make sure you have removed the yellow tape from the side of the
ink cartridge.
- Insert the ink cartridges
into the holder and push down each ink cartridge until it clicks into place.
(If a cartridge is properly seated already, you may not hear a click.
- Lower the scanner unit.

- Press the
OK button. The printer will start charging the inks.
