How do I remove and reinstall Epson Scan? |

Follow the steps below for your operating system.
Remove Scanner Driver:
- Disconnect the USB cable from the scanner and close any open windows on your computer.
- Open the Windows Control Panel.
- Click Programs and Features or Programs, then Uninstall a program.
- Select Epson Scan and click Uninstall/Change.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the removal and restart your computer.
Reinstall Scanner Driver:
- Go to the Drivers & Downloads page.
- Click the latest version of the Twain Driver for your version of Windows, then click Download Now.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to install the driver.
- When prompted, click Finish.
- Turn your scanner on and reconnect it to the computer. Windows should detect new hardware and complete the installation automatically.
- If a message appears indicating The scanner has not passed Windows logo testing, click Continue Anyway, then Finish.
- Restart your computer.
Mac OS X
Uninstall Scanner Driver:
- To download the Epson Scan Uninstaller, visit the Epson download site (U.S. downloads or Canadian downloads).
- Extract the contents of the DMG file you downloaded onto your hard drive.
- Quit all applications currently running on your Mac.
- Open the Applications > Epson Software folder.
- Double-click the Epson Scan Uninstaller icon.
- Select the checkbox for each software program you want to uninstall.
- Click Uninstall.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the software.
Reinstall Scanner Driver:
- Go to the Drivers & Downloads page.
- Select the version of Mac OS X you are using.
- Click the latest Scanner drivers available for your version of Mac OS X, then click Download.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to install the driver.
- When prompted, click Finish.
