Epson Scan does not work with my Epson All-in-One or scanner after I upgraded to Mac OS X 10.9. What should I do?
Some versions of Epson Scan are not compatible with Mac OS X 10.9. If the version you're using is not compatible, you'll see the icon below in the Applications folder.

You'll need to install Epson Scan for Mac OS X 10.9 if it's available for your product. Do the following:

  1. Select Go > Applications > Epson Software, then drag EPSON Scan and EPSON Scan Settings to the trash.
  2. Go to the Epson main support page, select your product, then select Drivers & Downloads.
  3. Select Drivers, then Scanner Driver and EPSON Scan Utility. If Epson Scan is not available for your product, check back later. Updated versions of Epson Scan are posted as they become available.
  4. Note: You can use Image Capture to scan with Mac OS X 10.9.
