A:
You can print a nozzle check to determine whether a problem comes from the EPSON Stylus Photo RX500 itself or some other source.

If the nozzle check page prints and has no gaps or missing sections, the problem is probably caused by your software settings, the interface cable, or your computer. If the nozzle check doesn't print or if it has gaps or missing sections, try cleaning the print head.
