Can this printer be set up to print in black by default instead of color?
A:
Yes. If you’re using Windows, follow these steps:
  1. Right-click the printer icon in the taskbar, then select Printer Settings.
  2. Click the Advanced button in the preferences window.
  3. Click the Black Ink Only check box.
  4. Click OK in the preferences window.
  5. Click OK or Print in the Print window to start printing.
If you’re using Mac OS X, follow these steps:
  1. Select Page Setup from your application’s File menu.
  2. Select Stylus Photo R200 from the Format for drop-down list.
  3. Click OK to close the Page Setup window.
  4. Select Print from your application’s File menu.
  5. Select Stylus Photo R200 from the Printer drop-down list.
  6. Click on Copies & Pages and select Print Settings from the drop-down list that appears.
  7. Select Black from the Color drop-down list.
  8. Click Print to start printing.
If you’re using Mac OS 8.6 to 9.x, follow these steps:
  1. Select Print from your application’s File menu.
  2. Click Black in the Color section of the print window.
  3. Click Print to start printing.
