Q: |
The product information on the web site describes the Expression 10000XL as a B-size scanner. On the scanner box, however, this product is referred to as an A3+ scanner. What is the difference? |
A: |
The “B-size” and “A3+” specifications refer to the largest standard document size that you can fit on the scanner’s document table. A B-size document measures 11” x 17”, while an A3+ document measures 11.7” x 16.5”. Since the maximum scanable area for the Expression 10000XL is slightly larger (12.2” x 17.2”), the scanner is described as an A3+ or B-size scanner. |
