No. Before removing a memory card from the printer, make sure the card light below the card slot is not flashing. Do not eject a card while the card light is flashing, or you may lose data on the card.

If your printer is connected to your computer, you may need to do one of the following depending on your operating system:

Operating System	Steps to take
Windows Me Windows 2000	Click the  Unplug or Eject Hardware icon on the taskbar. Then click Stop USB Mass Storage Device.
Windows XP	Click the  Unplug or Eject Hardware icon on the taskbar. Then click Safely Remove USB Mass Storage Device.
Mac OS	Drag the memory card icon from your desktop to the trash.
