After I install the scanner software, can I disconnect the scanner from my Macintosh computer (Mac OS 9.1 or 9.2)?
A:
Do not disconnect your scanner unless you disable the EPSON Scanner Monitor extension in the Extensions folder. If the Epson Scanner Monitor doesn’t find your scanner during start up, the system may freeze.
