If no operations are performed for a certain period when power is on, the LCD display turns off automatically and the camera enters Power Save Timer mode to save battery power. You can change the length of time before the camera enters Power Save Timer mode to 3, 5, 10, or 20 minutes.

To change the setting:

1. Select Power Save Timer in the Basic Setup menu using the JOG dial, and press the ENTER button.



2. Use the JOG dial to select the length of time before the camera enters Power Save Timer mode, and press the ENTER button.

Note: While the camera is in Power Save Timer mode, you can press any button to return to the previous mode.
