Q:
After installing Printer Driver v6.12 on my Mac, the printer driver displays Printer Features instead of Printer Settings and the options are different from what I'm used to. What should I do?
A:
If you upgraded from driver version 3.x to 6.12, follow these steps to correct the problem:
  1. Make sure the printer is turned off.


  2. Open the Hard Drive.


  3. Select Library > Printers > EPSON > InkjetPrinter > Preferences.


  4. Delete all files in the Preferences folder.


  5. Select System Preferences from the Apple menu.


  6. Click Print & Fax.


  7. Delete the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 print queue by highlighting the printer and then clicking the  button.


  8. Reset the printing system by holding down the Control key and clicking on any area in the printer list window. A pop-up menu appears. Select Resetting printing system and click OK to confirm the process. Do not reinstall any printers yet.



    Note: Resetting the printing system will remove all installed printer drivers. You’ll need to reinstall any printer drivers that you still need after resetting.


  9. Turn on the printer. It should automatically be added to the Print & Fax window. If it doesn't, click the  button and add the printer.


  10. Make sure the Epson Stylus Photo R2400 is highlighted in the Print & Fax window and click the Options & Supplies button.


  11. Verify that the driver version is 6.12




  12. Click OK.


  13. Close Print & Fax.
