Why does my Epson printer print slow over blank areas of the page or cover?
A:
If your printer uses a gloss optimzer cartridge, it takes longer to print blank pages or cover areas when the Gloss option is on. You can turn the option off to improve print speed.

Follow these steps to turn the Gloss option off:

  1. Open StoryTeller.


  2. Click File > Print Setup > Properties.


  3. Select the Main tab and uncheck Gloss in the Print Options box.
