Why does my Macintosh hang when I choose ALL in the page setup selection while adding my printer with the Printer Setup Utility?
A:
This currently seems to be a problem with Mac OS X 10.4. Previous OS X versions did not have this problem. There are two workarounds:

  • If you have already selected ALL and your Macintosh is hung, restart your Macintosh and the queues will be added.
  • To prevent a system hang, you can add the queues individually.
