See Your print has horizontal banding in the Printer Guide. NOTE:
- To resolve horizontal banding at higher resolutions only, upgrade the printer's firmware to I00642 or later.
- If you see improvement after you print the nozzle check, continue with another head cleaning and nozzle check until the issue is resolved or you see no further improvement.
- If you cannot match the Media Type in the driver/RIP with the media installed in the printer, paper feeding will be slightly off, causing thin light or dark bands in the print. To correct this problem, some RIPs have a paper configuration option which you can use to calibrate the paper feed for the media. If the RIP does not have a paper feed calibration, you can use Epson Printer Service Utility 2 to create a custom paper configuration.
