How do I install my all-in-one in Windows Vista? |
A: |
Check your all-in-one software CD to see if it already contains Windows Vista drivers. If the CD indicates support for Windows Vista, follow the instructions that came with your all-in-one to install your driver and other software. If your CD does not indicate support for Windows Vista, DO NOT INSERT YOUR EPSON ALL-IN-ONE SOFTWARE CD IN YOUR WINDOWS VISTA COMPUTER because the setup program is not compatible with Windows Vista. You need to download and install both the printer and scanner software for your all-in-one. Follow the steps below to install the printer driver and TWAIN Driver/Epson Scan Utility. Install TWAIN Driver and EPSON Scan Utility Note: If you see a window that says User Account Control at any point, click Continue.
Install Printer Driver Note: We recommend that you install the TWAIN Driver and Epson Scan Utility as described in the preceding section before installing the printer driver.
Note: To see which version of Windows Vista you have, click Start > Computer > System Properties. Check the operating system type listed under the System heading.Note: If you see a Found New Hardware screen, click Cancel. You can’t install your software that way. ![]() |
