I installed an Epson PowerPC driver for my Stylus CX on my Intel-based Mac. How do I remove the PowerPC driver and install the Intel-based Mac driver for my printer?
A:
Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Hard Drive.


  2. Select > Applications > Utilities.


  3. Double-click Printer Setup Utility.


  4. Select Reset Printing System... from the Printer Setup Utility menu.


    5. Note: Resetting the printing system will remove all printers from the Printer List, not just the Epson PowerPC driver. You’ll need to Add the printers you want again.



  5. Click Reset.




  6. Restart the Macintosh.


  7. Download the Intel-based Macintosh driver for your printer, open the file you downloaded, and follow the on-screen installation instructions.
