How do I set up my Intel-based Mac to work with an OS X PowerPC driver?
A:
Follow these steps:
  1. Install the latest OS X PowerPC driver. (Download the driver, open the file you downloaded, and follow the on-screen instructions.)


  2. Open the Hard Drive.


  3. Select > Applications > Utilities > Printer Setup Utility.


  4. Select Get Info from the File menu.


  5. Click the Open using Rosetta check box in the General section of the Printer Setup Utility Info window.





  6. Close the window.
