The DIGITAL ICE Technology-High setting for heavily-damaged photos cannot always correct older photos on textured paper. The cross-hatch pattern typical of the photo paper used in the 1970’s can cause distortion when scanned using DIGITAL ICE. Paper with matte or velvet texture may also cause distortion.
