After upgrading or deleting EPSON Scan in Mac OS X 10.4.x, I am unable to open EPSON Creativity Suite, EPSON Copy Utility, ArcSoft PhotoImpression, Adobe Photoshop Elements, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Photoshop CS2. What should I do? |

This problem can occur if you uninstall your EPSON Scan software with software specific to a different scanner model (e.g., using the Perfection 4490 software to uninstall the Perfection 3490), or if you delete EPSON Scan by dragging it to the Trash. Try the following to correct the problem:
If the above procedures do not resolve the problem, make sure EPSON Scan and the EPSON***.ds file are no longer on your hard drive (*** represents the scanner model you are uninstalling). Follow the instructions below to remove them:
