How can I tell if the computer or the Stylus CX is causing my printing problem?
A:
You can run a printer check to determine whether a problem comes from the Stylus CX itself or some other source.

If the test pattern prints and has no gaps or missing sections, the problem is probably caused by your software settings, the interface cable, or your computer.

If the test pattern doesn’t print or if it has gaps or missing sections, you may have a problem with your Stylus CX. Try Cleaning the Print Head.
