Why is it difficult sometimes to lift the scanner cover from the closed position? |
A: |
A vacuum seal has been created between the document mat and the glass document table. To break this seal, slightly lift the hinge side of the scanner cover.  Once the seal has been broken, the scanner cover will lift up normally. |
