What are the minimum system requirements for using the scanner with my computer?

The minimum system requirements are:

Windows
Operating SystemMicrosoft Windows Vista, XP, XP Professional x64 Edition, or 2000 Professional
(Operating systems upgraded from Windows Millennium Edition, 98, or 95 are not supported by the software.)
USB 2.0 Host Driver by Microsoft
InterfaceAvailable USB connection (Hi-Speed USB 2.0 recommended for optimum performance)
CD-ROM drive (4x or faster)
Memory128MB RAM (512MB recommended); 512MB RAM for Windows Vista and XP Pro x64 Edition
HD Space350MB of available hard drive space minimum
1GB free hard disk space for Digital ICE
DisplaySVGA or higher resolution monitors
800 600, 24-bit (full color) screen resolution or higher

Note: Epson Scan does not support the UNIX File System (UFS) for Mac OS X. You must install Epson Scan on a disk or in a partition that does not use UFS.
