What should I do if the printout contains incorrect characters? |

Try the following: - Make sure the USB cable is securely connected and is a shielded “AB” cable not more then 6.5 feet (2 meters) long. Then try printing again.
- If you’re using a switch box or USB hub with your printer, connect the printer directly to your computer.
- Cancel a print job if communication to the printer was interupted in the middle of printing. (The interuption could be caused by turning the printer off and on or disconnecting and reconnecting the cable in the middle of a print job).
