Q:
When I try to load paper in the front manual feed slot (straight-through paper path) the control panel displays the error message REMOVE PAPER and the printer does not feed the paper. What should I do?
A:
You may need to turn on the paper size check option. Follow these steps:

  1. Press the  Menu button. You see PRINTER SETUP on the printer’s control panel.


  2. Press the  Menu button again.


  3. Press the  button until you see PPR SIZE CHK.


  4. Press the  Menu button again.

    If the setting reads OFF, press the  button to select ON. Then, press the  Menu button to save the setting (an asterisk will appear to confirm the setting).

    If the setting already reads ON, skip to step 5.


  5. Press the  pause button to return the printer to ready mode.
